Baseball fans at Fort Bragg have had the collegiate summer league team the Fayetteville SwampDogs to enjoy the past few summers after Minor League Baseball left that part of North Carolina over a decade ago, however tonight they will become a Major League Baseball town when the Atlanta Braves and Florida Marlins play at a stadium built from scratch on the fort.

To give the full Major League effect for the men and women in the military (named Army) who will be attending the game, the Atlanta Braves are bringing their P. A. announcer Casey Motter, and their game operations crew which also includes organist Matthew Kaminski.  First pitch is tonight at 8 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN.
