You can count on three things this time of year, the weather is going to be hot, Las Vegas is going to start making ice, and hockey fans are starting to get restless waiting for the season to begin.  Cali Sports News caught up with Kings P. A. announcer Dave Joseph, who also happens to work with the Dodgers, Galaxy and American Hockey League’s Ontario Reign.

Joseph’s voice has been well known around the City of Angels for the last 15 years, but he didn’t get his start in L. A., but on the East Coast and Upper Midwest.  He talks about his upbringing, and how he wound up with the Kings P. A. announcer job after the passing of David Courtney in 2012.

He also talks about getting to hang out with the Stanley Cup and his other roles as P. A. announcer.  He’s the voice of the Ontario Reign, and also the fill-in P. A. announcer for the Dodgers and Galaxy.  Getting to see so many different sports allows him to stay well rounded.
