You never know what’s going to come out of his organ, perched high atop Verizon Center.  It could be something classic, or something that’s so new most people haven’t heard the original version yet.

Capitals Outsider: Meet the Caps Organist, Bruce Anderson

Sometimes you’ll get a ditty and go, “What song is that?!” because you just don’t expect it to be played on the organ.  Your toes will be tapping, your body bobbing, and maybe a few Let’s Go Caps chants or a Chicken Dance will be played, but you always get that feeling that you’re at a hockey game when Bruce is there.

Tonight, Bruce gets set to do his duty as the Capitals host the Boston Bruins.  Personally, I hope he plays Steppin’ Out by Joe Jackson.  Something about how that sounds when he plays it is awesome!

Oh yeah, he also is the organist for the Washington Wizards.
