We’ve had the chance to talk about Wes Johnson before and we are again as he is spending the Washington Capitals offseason working with acting legend Ed Asner as part of an ensemble cast filming a pilot just north of Washington, D. C.

Russian Machine Never Breaks:  Caps PA Announcer Wes Johnson Filmed A Pilot With Ed Asner in Columbia

Asner stars in the pilot for Bernie’s Gym which began filming in Columbia, Maryland, midway between Washington, D. C. and Baltimore because of the amount of talent in the area.

“It was a real honor to work with him,” Johnson said. “I’ve admired his work for years, and it was a real treat to watch him in person.”
