At the start of July, Kevin Corcoran used his announcing voice to signal his intent to run for Gulf Shores (Alabama) City Council Place 2 in the election coming up in August.

Corcoran, who is a volunteer P. A. announcer was recently appointed by Mayor Robert Craft to serve on the Baldwin County Community Advisory Task Force where he was elected Chairman.  Corcoran has served as a board member for many organizations and has been the “Voice of the Dolphins” as either play-by-play radio, TV, or P. A. announcer since Gulf Shores High School began its football program.
