Last month, Stu Walker, who could very easily be called the “Voice of Albuquerque” passed away from cancer at the age of 61.

Walker, who was the voice University of New Mexico basketball, baseball and men’s soccer for nearly 20 seasons, was also the only voice of the Pacific Coast League’s Albuquerque Isotopes since team’s inception in 2003, along with high school championships for the New Mexico Activities Association.
