They won’t say anything, but after the game is over you still want to make sure you announce upcoming games, the web site that has the information for the team or tournament, and most importantly, thank people for coming.
This is also a chance to recognize the volunteers, staff, and other key components to the event.
“On behalf of the staff of the Beach City Dolphins, the County of Beach and the Beach Civic Arena, we’d like to thank you for coming to tonight’s game, and ask you to please drive home safely. Thank you.”
This is a variant of the announcement we’ve been using for over 20 years which is below.
