Lee Hastings, the voice of the ECHL’s Allen Americans, recently sat down with Matthew Harding to answer a few questions about his time as a professional hockey announcer.

The Americans play in Allen, Texas, not exactly a traditional hockey market, which was originally a Central Hockey League city, which was on the same level as the ECHL.  Prior to the 2014-2015 season, the CHL ceased operations and the Americans, along with several other teams joined the ECHL.
