Erin Magee has been the in-arena host for the Washington Capitals for the past three years and had been a member of the Red Rockers spirit squad two years prior, but will be leaving the team to pursue a Masters of Education in Human Development.

Magee, who is also a teacher in Maryland, posted a letter to her fans on Scarlet Caps, the Capitals official club for female Capitals fans.  In her five years with the team, she’s become a familiar face around the arena and has become very recognizable from her roles.

Having had the opportunity to work with Erin over the last five seasons, it’s been an honor and a pleasure and we hope to get to work with you again in the future.
