Lance McGarvey, who graduated from University of Louisville, will now take over as the Public Address announcer for mens basketball at his alma mater.

McGarvey is no stranger to announcing close to KFC Yum! Center as he has also served as the stadium voice for Louisville City FC of USL and Racing Louisville FC which begins it’s inaugural season this year.

McGarvey ’94, has already announced three games in interim status including the last two home games for the Cardinals. He spent nearly a decade as P. A. announcer for men’s and women’s basketball at IU Southeast and also announced other sports for Bellarmine.
