That’s how long most students spend in school before going off to college, but for Pete Mattix, he is stepping down as the voice of Shiloh High School in Georgia.

Mattix isn’t leaving Shiloh Community Stadium, where he started working as P. A. announcer in 2003, he’ll continue announcing for Providence Christian who also plays at the stadium. Providence Christian is where his wife works and his youngest son is currently a junior.
