Ruthauser leaves the team after 14 seasons where he developed the Jackals PA Heroes program which gave boys and girls ages 9 to 19, with physical limitations, the chance to live a dream by announcing the names of Jackals players over the Yogi Berra sound system for all to hear.  The program began last season and looks to continue into the future.

“Bye, bye booth! After 14 seasons as The Voice of Yogi Berra Stadium, I’ve decided to hang up my microphone. It was an honor and privilege to serve New Jersey Jackals management, staff, managers, coaches, players and, of course, the fans as the club’s Public Address Announcer from 1998-2000 and 2005-2015.
