“Ladies and gentlemen, there are some exciting changes in women’s basketball this year.  First, games are now played in four, ten-minute quarters.  Teams will reach the bonus on the fifth team foul in each quarter, which reset at the end of each quarter, except at the end of the fourth quarter.

Other rules have also been amended to allow a team to advance a ball to the front court following a timeout in the last minute of regulation and all overtime periods, a new 10-second backcourt count except on balls deflected out of bounds by the defense, a held ball that favors the offense or a technical foul called on the offense in the backcourt.  You’ll also notice only one media timeout per quarter with teams able to call one 60-second timeout and three 30-second timeouts in televised games, and two 60-second timeouts and three 30-second timeouts in non-televised games.  In either situation, teams will lose a timeout if they do not use any in the first half.

The final change this year that you’ll notice, is music is now permitted during any dead-ball situation.  We hope you enjoy the new way women’s basketball is played at _______________ [school name] and in the NCAA.”

Person 1:  “Hi, I’m ________________ and along with ________________, we are here to tell you about some exciting changes in women’s basketball this year.
