Olympic games need P. A. announcers and this year’s even in Rio de Janiero, Brazil will have a plethora of experienced announcers flying in from other countries including Peter Graves of Thetford, Vermont.

Graves doesn’t yet know which sports he’ll be covering but this isn’t his first trek to the Olympic games which dates back to 1980 in Lake Placid, New York.  This will be Graves’ ninth Olympics as either a P. A. announcer or broadcaster.

“I’m going to go down a week early and meet with all the PA announcers at all the different venues over a period of a week and clinic them and bring them up to speed on some of the knowledge that I’ve acquired over the years of dos and don’ts,” Graves explains.
