For over 35 years, Skip Hickman was known as “The Voice of the Trojans” and passed away in October of 2015.  Last Saturday, Portsmouth (Ohio) High School paid honor to the man who also served as president of the Portsmouth City School’s Board of Education, the McKinley Middle School PTA, the Highland Elementary School PTA, as well as a former president of the PHS Trojan Boosters Club in addition to volunteering as the P. A. announcer.

If that wasn’t enough, Hickman was also involved in the Eastern Division Little League and served with the Del Rice Little League.
