Mellman was a cheerleader at the school before becoming an elementary school teacher and coach of that same cheerleading team.  During her 14 year stint as cheerleading coach that ended in 1989, she also served as track-and-field coach for half-a-dozen years.

On the microphone, she’s been the P. A. announcer for several Rovers teams and is an institution as the wrestling scorer and announcer, when she isn’t providing candy, lollipops or cookies to the athletes.

Congratulations Rose Marie!
