Bruce Flanders has a long and storied history of calling races not just in Southern California, but all around the country. He’s announced at some of the long-forgotten tracks, and some of the cathedrals of auto racing.
Flanders is best knows as the “Voice of Long Beach” where he’s announced every race since 1978, 10 years after he got his start calling motorcycle racing at the Orange County Fairgrounds. His voice has also been heard at Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Daytona, Caesar’s Palace and even Wembley Stadium in England.
