“Ladies and gentlemen, fans are asked not to throw objects onto the playing surface at any time.  It is dangerous and unfair to the participants and may cause unnecessary injury.  Any fan that is caught throwing objects within the seating area, onto or near the playing surface will be removed from [name of arena or stadium].  We thank you for your cooperation.”

Escalated Announcement:

“Once again, fans are reminded not to throw objects at anytime during your visit to [name of arena or stadium].  Any fan caught doing so will be removed from the [arena/stadium].  If you see fans throwing objects, please notify security personnel so the offenders may be removed and your fellow fans may continue to enjoy [today’s/tonight’s] game.”

Suspension Announcement:

“Ladies and gentlemen, [today’s/tonight’s] game is being suspended until further notice.  Fans are asked not to throw objects within the seating areas, adjacent to, or on to the playing surface.  The game is being suspended while security personnel tend to the issue.  We thank you for your continued positive support while the offenders are escorted from [name of arena or stadium].”

Postponement Announcement:

“[Today’s/Tonight’s] game has been postponed by game officials due to fan unsportsmanlike conduct.  Fans are asked to leave in an orderly fashion.”
